Please read this agreement carefully before accessing or using the information and services available through the ZionJob website ("Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below. ZionJob may modify this agreement at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting the modified agreement on the Site. Advertiser Terms and Conditions must be accepted and adhered to by Advertisers who use ZionJob's services and the Site.

Eligibility to Use ZionJob

To access or use ZionJob, you must register with valid career information. Except for an employer’s authorized use of a Free Employer Account, or as otherwise approved by us, ZionJob is for your personal, non-commercial use unless you enter into a separate agreement with us for your commercial use. You may not use ZionJob if we have terminated your account or banned you.

Links to other websites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not controlled by us. ZionJob has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that ZionJob shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of reliance on any such content, goods or services.

Applying via ZionJob

Some of our job postings allow you to complete and submit your application on ZionJob. We provide this service by working directly with an employer or by searching the Internet for the best contact information we can find for an employer. When you click the "Apply" button to submit an application on ZionJob, we send your application to the most appropriate contact information we have on file for that employer.

While we endeavor to make this service the best it can be, employer websites are not controlled by ZionJob, and we cannot guarantee that your application will be properly received and logged by the third-party employer website upon transmission. If you have any reason to think your application was not received by an employer, we suggest you contact them directly to confirm.

Special Provisions Applicable To Employers

You may not post any job ad that:

  • Does not comply with the applicable laws or regulations of the state and country where the job is to be performed, including laws relating to labor and employment, equal employment opportunity and employment eligibility requirements, data privacy, data access and use and intellectual property;
  • Contains false information or solicits employees by intentional misrepresentation, such as, misrepresentation of the terms of employment, the hiring entity, or the identity of the poster;
  • Contains any logo or brands, or link to website, other than your own or those of any entity for which you are authorized to submit job ads;
  • Discriminates against applicants on the basis of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other ground(s) prohibited by applicable law, in each case as determined in ZionJob's reasonable discretion.

Rights to Your Content

We do not claim ownership in any Content that you submit to ZionJob, but to be able to legally provide ZionJob to our users, we have to have certain rights to use such Content in connection with ZionJob, as set forth below. By submitting any Content to ZionJob, you hereby grant to us an unrestricted, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully-paid and royalty-free, license (with the right to sublicense through unlimited levels of sublicenses) to use, copy, perform, display, create derivative works of, adapt and distribute such Content in any and all media (now known or later developed) throughout the world. To the greatest extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby expressly waive any and all of your moral rights applicable to ZionJob's exercise of the foregoing license. No compensation will be paid with respect to the Content that you post through ZionJob. You should only submit Content to ZionJob that you are comfortable sharing with others under the terms and conditions of these Terms.

ZionJob - House Rules

You agree that you will not:

  • Impersonate another person, or his or her email address, or misrepresent your current or former affiliation with an employer;
  • Violate these Terms, the terms of your agreements with us, explicit restrictions set forth in our Community Guidelines, or any applicable law, rule or regulation;
  • Create user accounts under false or fraudulent pretenses; create or use an account for anyone other than yourself; or create multiple active user accounts to post multiple reviews for the same company
  • Promote, endorse or further illegal activities;
  • Violate the privacy, publicity, copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any third-party;
  • Post anything pornographic or sexually explicit in nature, or engage in the exploitation of persons in a sexual or violent manner;
  • Introduce software or automated agents to ZionJob, or access ZionJob so as to produce multiple accounts, generate automated messages, or to scrape, strip or mine data from ZionJob without our express written permission;
  • Copy, modify or create derivative works of ZionJob (including ZionJob Content) without our express written permission;
  • Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, corrupted files, or similar software to ZionJob;
  • Expose us or our users to any harm or liability.

No guarantees as to the service

ZionJob provides no warranty to you that the services generally available through its Site will be uninterrupted or error-free or that defects in the service will be corrected. You also understand that ZionJob cannot and does not guarantee or warrant to you that files available for downloading through the Site or delivered via electronic mail through the Site will be free of infection or viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other code that manifest contaminating or destructive properties. You are responsible for implementing sufficient procedures and checkpoints to satisfy your particular requirements for accuracy of data input and output, and for maintaining a means external to the Site for the reconstruction of any lost data.

Your responsibility for your password and login

To become a registered user, you must provide a password and a login name. You are entirely responsible if you do not maintain the confidentiality of your password and login name. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your login name. You may change your password at any time by following instructions. You may also change your login by contacting customer service. You agree to immediately notify ZionJob of any unauthorized use of your login name or any other breach of security known to you.

No misrepresentations allowed

You agree that it is a condition on your use of the ZionJob Website, ZionJob Data or Services and of any other services provided by ZionJob or through the Site that you will not either through any act or omission mislead or deceive others.

Enforcement by ZionJob

Defending Our Users: While we have no obligation to do so, we reserve the right, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, to take appropriate action to protect the anonymity of our users against the enforcement of subpoenas or other information requests that seek a user's electronic address or identifying information.

General provisions

If any part of this agreement is held invalid that part shall be severed from this agreement and the remainder of this agreement will continue to be valid and enforceable. Termination of this agreement will not end those provisions that are capable of surviving the ending of this agreement. The laws governing this agreement will be the laws in Ethiopia and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its Courts.
